Kelva Beach , Palghar

Kelva Beach is the most beautiful location for vacations near Palghar. It has the largest stretch of beautiful cost line of Arabian Sea in Thane District. The unique feature of the beach is the abundance of the Suru trees and it is the most sought weekend destination sought by local populace, domestic visitors from Mumbai and also from other parts of state.

 










Kelwa Beach is situated about 80 kilometres north off Mumbai. It is easily accessible from the Kelve Road station situated about 5 kilometres away.
It is also a 25 minute ride on an 8 seater Rickshaw from Palghar.around 34 kilometers from highway.
Kelwa Beach is also connected by State Transport buses which make frequent trips from Palghar or Saphale & Kelwa Road Station.



Kelva fort and Sheetala Devi temple located at the lakeside add the attraction of the Kelva beach. There are many resorts and luxurious hotels for the comfortable stay of tourists.

Prati Shirdi & Birla Ganpati...Shirgaon

Prati Shirdi is located off old Mumbai-Pune highway and about 25 KMs from Pune. Prati Shirdi is replica of Shri Saibaba's Shirdi in all way. People in Pune who are wishing to pray for Saibaba everyday can easily visit and offer their homage. Saibaba temple was built by Mr Prakash Keshavrao Deole in 2003. Since then it had adaptation to make it like Shirdi and it was successful.



Birla Ganpati



There is Gurusthan at the temple entrance with miraculous Neem Tree at the center. The temple layout, Gabhara, Samadhi, Sai moorti makes one feel as if he is in Shirdi. Dwarkamai at Shirgaon holds Sai Dhuni which is enlightened 24 hours , 7 days a week. 

Chwadi at the back is built in the similar fashion. Abhishek and Arti's done at the temple with the similar schedule as Shirdi. Shirgaon has got a new identity since the temple was established.
The work of development is still going on. Trust is building Annachatra for the devotees.

Parvati temple






The Parvati Hill and Temple of Pune is the combined name of Parvati hill on which the Parvati temple is situated. The temple is located so high on the hill that one has to climb a series of 108 steps to get to the main temple. It is believed that Peshwa Balaji Baji Rao used to watch the defeat of the Britishers from this site.


Besides the temple, there is an adjoining museum with the historical records of the Peshwas rulers. The museum contains a variety of things dating back to the contemporary society of the Peshwas. Among these artifacts the most important ones are:
  • old manuscripts
  • replica of ancient paintings
  • weapons, and
  • coins, etc.
The museum truly commemorates the Peshwa rule!

Everyone having the desire to visit the temple can visit the Parvati Hill and Temple of Pune, and can get the flavor of the Maratha cult.

Saras baug Pune

The "Sarasbaug Ganapati" temple is also called "Talyatla Ganpati". The Sarasbaug temple houses the idol of Shree Siddhivinayak (God who makes wishes true). A sacred ground of faith for millions of devotees in Pune and around the world.
